Truth be told, I used to look at the size of my pregnant tummy, wondering what on earth would become of my shapely frame once my little one took her first step outside the womb. I found that even in my post-delivery state, my body was changing rapidly from week to week and month to month. What fits and feels comfy in month one looks oversized and baggy in month three post-delivery.
Having gone through this experience myself three times, I could definitely identify with my patients as they came into our consulting rooms complaining about how limited the availability of maternity wear was and how impractical the fabric and designs.
